DJ Virya Morales Exclusive Interview for EDMDroid Asia

1. Please tell us and our readers more about the nightlife in Costa Rica right now in times of Covid?

At this moment according to Costa Rica laws clubs are not open yet. still people doesn't listen and they make private big underground parties, is really sad because people is stress and tired and they just want to party but the reality is we are still in pandemic and not every one is vaccinated yet, so we , well they should be more careful , there are people dying because of this irresponsables parties, wish people would be more conscious....

2. How long have you been DJing/Producing and what can we expect next from DJ Virya?

On December I will have 10 years over the decks as a Dj and 3 producing my own sounds , this year I have many projects , thanks God many countries are already vaccinated and parting again , so I actually will star my international tour next week, will play in Miami, New York, Washington , Los Angeles , Alaska still not sure and after ill go to Europe, I play at Madrid , Greece and Israel , not sure yet if will have time to play at Asia but I really really have my eyes on it.

3. What has been your best and your worst gig experience so far. Be honest please.

The best gig I have ever played at was in Egypt in Sharm el sheik, in a very nice beautiful festival... amazing people and amazing atmosphere , will never forget thats magic amazing moment, and the worst provably a few years ago on my birthday party, I good food poison and count perform good or even enjoy my own party.

4. If you had to choose, which profession would you be going with? DJ or something else?

I would do and choose the same over and over, only that sooner and with more confidence.

6. With which intl. act would you love to collaborate and why?

I would die to collaborate with Solomun, Boris Brejcha or Svent Vath coccon, they are defenelly by miles my mentors at distance and my heroes, love all about them I just count decide just one, they are my perfect hat trick.
