DJ Burak Yeter Exclusive Interview for EDMDroid Asia

1. Please tell us and our readers more about the nightlife in Turkey right now in times of Covid.

Generally, It’s quite good and alive. There are many festivals in various locations. But, of course, with the Covid pandemic, the events paused as happened everywhere, but from next week, the restrictions will be off, and the events kick off then.

2. How long have you been DJing/Producing and what can we expect next from DJ Burak Yeter?

Around 20 years. I graduated as a sound engineer. Then I began to hand mixing & mastering famous artists. Later I started to work on my own singles and built my career. I opened many DJ schools, and around 7000 students graduated from my schools in Amsterdam, Istanbul, and Los Angeles under Connection DJ Academy.

3. What has been your best and your worst gig experience so far. Be honest please.

The best is my appearance at Tomorrowland with my guitar. It was a very high responsibility. As I achieved this, many festival bookers wanted me to at the stage with the guitar. At Exit Festival in Serbia, I performed with guitar as well. I don’t have a bad experience at the stage, but honestly, I don’t want to have.

4.If you had to choose, which profession would you be going with? DJ or something else?

Actually i am a construction engineer and we have family company. My father and sisters are architects. I used to help them but nowadays online i can support them online with some projects. But if i wasn’t a DJ, i could be an astronaut, it’s my childhood dream.
